Go Go Go?

This past weekend started with Dani babbling her way through what sounded like a lot of "dada". She just talked her little self silly. She may have even babbled the words "go go go", a phrase I honestly couldn't think where she may have heard it. Then when she was on the floor playing with her yellow ball the dogs came in to visit her. In doing so they showered her with snorts and cleaned her with tongues and made the girl giggle herself silly as if she wasn't already silly enough. At a point (not too far into the showers) I felt like they were going to knock her over I told them to move on out. I shooed them along, "Bella and Riley, move it, go on, get out of here, go go go". It was like an epiphany, "go go go"! Maybe she did say it, and maybe she didn't, either way, it's a keen reminder that I need to pay close attention to my words these day!

In other things to note, she's sitting even better than before. She topples now and again, and even reaches for things that I am convinced will cause her to topple and yet she doesn't. She stands fairly well when holding onto someone as well. [pictures coming soon]

She moved from the small gDiapers to the mediums. To be honest, I'm not sure she needs to move up a size, the diapers are HUGE on her tiny 12.5 pound body but yet she has leaks and blowouts that would indicate a size up is in order. Whatever the case may be, she's in between diaper sizes and while most babies would have moved to a medium at about 13-14 pounds around 4 months or so, my teeny baby girl has managed to get some good use out her small g's!

She also recently added a new "high chair" to her furniture collection. It's one of those handy high chairs that attaches to a sturdy table, cantilevering the chair off the edge so that baby sits at table height. It's designed for babies 6 months and older. I knew Dani would be really small for it so we just never got it out, but it turns out, even now at 7 months, she's still too small, but really enjoys using it anyway. She sits with her legs inside the seat and uses her spoon to bang on the table. I'm glad we got it out, we can now have dinner at the table like I had always intended!
