Hunch Boob

So I think I have this plugged duct on the left milker…it hurts anyway, so I need a heating pad. I don’t have one here so I had to put my engineering skills to work. I took one of the Medela milk storage bags that I have with my pump, I put hot water from the coffee machine in it, put that into another ziplock (for added security on spillage), and then put that inside one of my gloves to prevent burning. Shoved the whole assembly in my bra…instant heat pack!

I look a little bulky on one side, but really, I just don’t care…it hurts!

I told Chris of my genuis idea...he named me "the hunch-boob of HOK"

2 Months Old

As you may or may not be aware, Saturday the 8th, Dani was 2 months old. I know, time flew by, right!? She went Friday for her 2 month check up and vaccinations. Yes, vaccinations...mean nasty shots that made my little baby hurt and cry. But, she did good, she cried, she fussed, she did all the things she was supposed to do and nothing more. Now, I know you are eager to hear the stats...

Update and A Video

I don't have much time to write. Dano is sleeping peacefully for the moment, but these moments are short. I did want to get on here and mention a few things though...

We found a babysitter for Dano, and that will be my sister. I hope it works out, I don't want Dani to go to a daycare where I don't know the people and she can't talk to me and tell me if something is wrong. My sister is very busy and I know Dani is high maintenance since she's still so young. It has however alleviated a lot of stress. I had my self in tears Sunday night worried about who my Dani would be staying with when I went back to work. That date by the way, for my return to work is Tuesday the 11th of January. I am not looking forward to that, I am looking forward to getting to eat a meal though while at work and not juggling an infant.

Today, Dani pooped! All on her on too! Just the other day she pooped on her on too...maybe she won't have to have any suppositories for a while! Plus, after she poops, she's really content! I know you were eager to hear all about her poop, which is why I mentioned it! Curious about the G-diaper and poop? Well, the liner gets some on it, but it hasn't leaked through yet...let's hope they hold up that way for a long time. Holly, just so you know, I have some regular diapers I am using too, so you'll get to use those and play around with the G-diapers some!

Happy New Year

I'm attempting to write this, very slowly, on my Nook while sitting in the dark in Dani's room. She has a mattress for her crib now thanks to Amanda...so, I plan on getting her used to being in the crib by putting her down for a nap. She's not sleeping yet and will cry when she realizes she's alone....so here I am. Anyway, so, Happy New Year (1-1-11)! Updates: Today Dani went for Mexican with us. She is learning to grasp. Last night I had Chris make a bottle, he forgot to insert the blue tube thing, milk spilled everywhere. Lastly, he has a toy that shuts itself off, weird. That's all for now...let's hope for a great new Year!
