Today she has her second meet which means she was allowed an early dismissal from school to get to the meet on time. The bad news is that I don't get to go. I want to know how she's doing so bad...did she get changed into her uniform okay? Did she get to the meet okay? Is she nervous? I won't know how she did until her dad picks her up from the mom who graciously agreed to take her. Or maybe another parent can post some pictures. In any case, it's killing me.
In other news, she recently had her first sleepover. A few weeks ago (mid-August) she got to take a friend camping. They had a blast and we were thankful her friend was allowed to go. This past weekend that same friend came over and stayed the night Saturday.
The first day of school did not go well. First, Lil Bit had to sit next to a boy! And that boy annoyed her. There is even an unclear story about the boy, scissors, and her hair. The boy is scissor-less and the kiddo is still annoyed by him. But otherwise, school is progressing well, I think. Parent-teacher orientation is tomorrow and I'll find out more then!
Lil Bit also has the opportunity to start violin lessons, which I think she would enjoy. I think we have procured an open slot in the schedule but I'm not quite sure...time will tell.
