I hate to be a tease, but I am going to do so! I have a spreadsheet that compares the costs of cloth diapering vs. disposable. I'm not going to tell you the results (mostly because I've not finalized my input). There are already a lot of online ones out there I'd recommend checking out (but for me, half the fun is playing in the spreadsheet). Also, I'd like to thank Krislyn and Brad for the spreadsheet set up and info on their cloth diapering experience! Knowing that I want to reduce the quantity of diapers in landfills is my major choice for diapering method, finding out the cost simply adds entertainment value.
After all that rambling, I did however want to share a website I thought was helpful in calculating cost of washing/drying of cloth diapers. [Again with thanks to Brad and Kris]

The site actually has a host of helpful information that I just didn't explore in entirety. I suggest checking it out if you need any data for your own spreadsheets!

If you decide to go cloth, I have some patterns to knit wool soaker covers. I do find it interesting that the site you linked to doesn't include the cost of electricity if you live in the country and have a well. It also assumes your water is the same temp as ground water, which I don't believe ours is since it's freezing cold in the winter and barely cool in the summer.
I had wondered myself about the water temperature. I want to measure our cold water that comes out of the faucet...I'll have to get back to you on that one!
I hadn't even thought about well water!
