Week 29ish Has Been A Fun Week

This Wednesday has been an exciting day, not just for me and Baby Yadi, but for Chris and Eva too! Chris has a lead on some secondary contract work (which will help tremendously with finances that have been suffering with this economy). Eva went to her second ultrasound (I won't discuss too many details since they aren't my medical details to share)...but let's just say the second doctor that she saw for her baby's heart was very happy with what she saw, a healthy wee baby forming in Eva's tummy! Yea!

In addition to all that fun stuff, I found a gift for the baby from one of Chris' coworkers. To add to the excitement, when I got home, the UPS man stopped at our house and dropped off a package. To my surprise it was from my old high school buddy Maureen (and her husband Connor) expecting their first child sometime in the next 4 weeks or so! I shouldn't be too surprised I suppose, I sent her a gift once I got her address (diapers, teething ring, wipes, ya know some essentials from her registry). But I honestly didn't expect it!! I'm happy I have some sleepers for the baby once I get it home!!
